Tony Corkill, Partner and Senior Consultant of ANS is an internationally recognized Australian planner in charge of Master Planning and Urban Design as well as complex design concepts. Tony has more than 30 years design experience in both United States and Australia. He was responsible for master planning of the famous Sydney Darling Harbour, in Australia’s largest city. The project integrates commercial, recreational, residential, convention, tourism and culture facilities along Sydney’s now infamous waterfront. The project was considered the most successful example of urban redevelopment of Australia. Tony’s Wollongong City Mall is one of the most significant projects he has ever done, which has gained four international honors including Urban Planning Merit from RAIA.
Tony Corkill has been involved in many large private and public projects. His Australian and overseas projects included, Stephens Harbour complex development( residence, golf course and conference facilities) in NSW, the Shute Harbour complex development( hotels, commerce and apartments) the Central Coast development ( residence, education, and vocation) in NSW, The International Equestrian Center in Sydney, Yulara Tourist Resort in Australia, Vista High Tech Living Work Environment in Singapore, Chiangmai View Villa in Thailand, Dannang No.9 lot comprehensive development in Vietnam.
Over the recent years, Tony has continued his career in China, in charge of a series of projects including master plan of Huangpu River Foreshore Yangpu & Pudong District in Shanghai, Jiangbei New Town in Chongqing, Yunnan Province Tourism Master Plan, the Hexi New Town in Nanjin , new municipal planning of Changxing Island Phenix Town in Shanghai, Yangkou Habour business center planning in Nantong. Grand Theatre and Exhibition & Conference Center in Hangzhou, Sun Co Suncity in Tianjin, Jin An international community in Shanghai, Jingu Hotspring Resort in Chongqing and Resort Yinghai Peninsula in Hainan . His international vision, studies and experiences in the realm of urban development won him commendations and praises from numerous government departments as well as value adding to the commercial value of projects.
